The snow started at 7am yesterday and has continued steady with only about a half hour break. Nearly every business yesterday (including mine) let it's employees out early. It is supposed to stop snowing around 4pm today. We have a foot of snow now. Have shoveled the driveway and back porch 3 times. Zoe goes out, walks around on the porch and down the sidewalk that is cleared off a bit....wants back in and pees on the towels on the kitchen floor :doah: Those are for messy Boots!!! Winston goes on the porch, stares at the snow, shivers, walks around in circles and then proceeds to pee on the grill on the porch :doah: He has never seen this much snow. Then runs inside and snuggles under blankies.
I don't know why we have shoveled the driveway because there hasn't been even one snow plow on our street....the driveway looks great, but the great snow wall of china runs across the end of it....haha.....We can drive down the driveway but can't get out :verdict: WHO ELSE OUT THERE IS GETTING HIT BY THIS STORM? AUNTIE KAREN, HOW ARE YOU DOING???
Hey Zoe & Winston dis is EmmyLou... I sure know how you feel wif all dat snow... But, you know what... Now I like da snows... It is fun to pway in... Just remember dat after you pway in it, yous gots to go in and snuggle wif your momma... Now, dis is much funner if your daddy lets you out in da mornings and da momma is sweepin in, den you can go in and get back in da big bed to snuggle wif da momma, dey really seem to lub dis... :angel4: So, try to hab fun in da snow, and den get real warm wif your momma... Don't get lost in da snow though!!! Sometimes dem snows gets really big... Gib your momma puppy kisses for me... And, my momma sends belly rubs and hugs to both of you... Hab fun in da snows.... I have been thinking about you today with all that snow!! I hope it is the last storm for the year. I think everyone is tired of it this winter. Hopefully it stops soon!! Sounds like Zoe does the same thing Mimi and Tuttle do, go outside then come in and do their business on the kitchen floor!! Carson loves to play in it but not for long. It also sounds like the perfect time to snuggle down on a Saturday night with movies and of course lots of snacks!!
It is pretty cold here too but no snow. We are staying in with a fire and playing games. Scott is sick with a nasty cold and I am afraid I am getting it too. At least it is not the flu again, just really sore throat, stuffy head and achy.

They finally did plow our street around 7pm last night. We ended up with 13 inches of snow. Haen't had this much in a long time!!!!! Hope everyone else out there who has been effected by this storm is doing well.
Dang - that is a LOT of snow !!!! Glad they got the streets cleared.... the weather this year has been un-real. In Texas - the Dallas area, last week it snowed on Monday, 60's on Tues, 50's Wed, snow again on Thurs and 50 on Friday - CRAZY !!!! :doah:
Sounds like the storms that we had last month are hitting you now! It's starting to warm up here and in the valleys, the snow is melting real nice! We only have one little snowbank in the middle of the cul-de-sac! Yea!!!
