:BangHead: :BangHead: I am making my own Roman blinds for the house up country as the quotes I've got would curl your hair the big windows in the front are 2100 mm high and 2400mm wide would cost $950 per blind we have 4 plus the other two in the family room were $750 and two smaller ones in the lounge $400. So 60 metres of fabric later and two dachies I got them cut so "all" I've got to do is stitch and baton them..........
www.duntar.com shows the progress
kidding aside I love it when they sidle in make a bed and plunk down
Well it keeps us off the cold tiles and Amys anti skiddy stuff
such good helpers!!!
I know what you mean about the prices. It is a lot of work but at least you get EXACTLY what you want and you can choose washable fabrics (My first priority.) My favorite fabric store closed and the big chain stores seems to only sell cottons for quilts--itty bitty prints. And I am NOT paying $36.00/yard (or meter in your case) for fabric.
Your helpers are very to help you and it's too bad they can't stich they would be aces at hems being so low to the ground.
Leslie, you never fail to make me laugh out loud. I'm just glad Randy isn't napping beside me right now or he would be awake! I do love your helpers Roberta. At least they make sure you don't get lonely!
The house is really coming along nicely. I still can't get over that view. It is absolutely stunning. Sooooo peaceful! Aren't they supposed to be done at the end of April? If so, I think they will make that date.
LOL - what good little helpers they are !!! Gotta get their smell on those new window treatments !!! Love the pics !
