Life is short! Too, short sometimes! :confused: But, why does it have to be soo dang hard all of a sudden?? It hasn't even been a year yet since my cousin passed away, my Gramps in Sept., my brother's cousins funeral was 3 days ago, and this morning my other Grandpa passed away from cancer... And, sometime throughout the night while my Grandfather was dying, his sister's grandson commited suicide... I am having a really hard time right now, so if there is any prayers and rays left over, I could sure use some... My hubby's grandfather seems to be doing better for now.... I just hope that I have the strength to make it through the next week... I feel like I could just lay down and sleep for a week.... Hope you are all good... EmmyLou sends puppy kisses...

Ok, so are you all tired of sending me rays yet?? It seems we need a few more... :confused: My brother-in-law was thrown from his 4-wheeler yesterday, fracturing his skull twice.. He went into a coma late last night, they did surgery this morning to release the pressure of a blood clot and he came out fine... Then an hour after that he had a stroke and the Dr.'s don't think he will make it... They are still running some tests on him... His blood pressure has increased a little, so we can only hope for the best... So, please if you could, send some rays to him, his wife and their two children... His first grandbaby is due to be born in July... He is my kids' favorite uncle.... I just can't believe all this is going on all at once.... Thanks in advance for the rays.... And, hopefully I won't need any for quite sometime.... :pray:

My brother~in~law passed around 2 am yesterday morning at 50 years of age... My grandfather's funeral went nicely yesterday... The next will be on Thursday... Thanks soooooo much to all of you for the rays and prayers... It is greatly appreciated... I hope there will be an end to all this soon... What a week... :confused: Thanks again... Hugs to all...

Thanks to you all for the rays & prayers, they seem to of helped.... I am actually dealing with all this better than I thought... Tongiht is the viewing, we'll see how long my strength lasts.... I am more worried about my kids, they seem to be taking this really hard... As, I said earlier, Ray was their favorite uncle... My son went to a Jazz game with them, and because he couldn't see over the people in front of him, Ray put him on his shoulders... He loved every minute of it (I think they both did).... We have been spending the week talking about fun stories that include Uncle Ray, and it's amazing how much my kids can remember... My two oldest were scared of him when they first met him, but, he was 6'5" and they were only 3 & 1 so all they seen then was shins.... lol They have all shared some good stories, all very funny because that's just the type of guy he was.... He will be greatly missed... Thanks again to you all... Now I am just praying that this is the end of all this for quite awhile... :xfinger: :pray:
I just saw this. I am so sorry about all the things going on in your life right now. Sending HHHHH's :comfort: & PPPPP's :pray: to you and your family. It is good that the kids are able to think about the good times with their Uncle!!!

OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much more can our families take???? Seriously!!!! Friday morning DH's Aunt passed away from lung cancer... Her funeral is Wednesday... This has really doubled on my kids... They only lived 3 houses down from us (until they were forced to move away after finding out about her lung cancer), and my kids were always down there visiting with them... DH's Uncle is not in great shape himself after having numerous strokes, and I am afraid that losing the love of his life will take him from us... So, if your not out of rays or prayers, could you send a few more to our family once again??? And, also maybe a few prayers that this will soon end for us.... It has been one funeral after another in less than a month... I just can't believe it... As soon as I found out Friday about Aunt Sandy's passing, I couldn't work, I had to leave early... I think it's just from soooo much heartbreak, and the toll it is taking on everybody... It is crazy.... I definately can't wait for 2008 to come to a close... Maybe things will be better soon.... :xfinger: :pray: On a lighter note, EmmyLou will be posting a new topic somewhere tomorrow, so be on the lookout....
