:angel4: da cord from the venitian blind near da front door. YUCK Amy mums not happy...............promise I won't eat another.
mum here 24 hr in and I'm still paranoid. Came int he front gate to see only Oliver, %$##%&*& is she OK, then she comes you know th eI;ve done something, I had seen the cord whcih is always way above sight level. Well the wee sticker had chewed it, ph'd the vet as its plastic x-rays will not work. so I gave her poo softener and bit of prunes two poo's later and all I've seen is a bit of plastic specs. Vets said to look out for depression, not eating (like I'd see that SHE'S a" DACHSHOUND-EATS ANYTHNG"), not pooing and out of sorts.
When do you think I should stop worrying ..........................
this cord has been in this position since they have been here, just tell me what goes through there minds.
The up side he mouth is small (most kibble is to big for her to handle) so I think worst case is she has nibbled.........................so here's to another bad nights sleep, and dear sweet girl that was the only one in the house....................

AMY !!!! Wee Amy - don't eat that stuff !!!! Tell mom to search around for a big piece that hopefully didn't make its way into your tummy. I would watch all through today for anything in her poo..... Let us know !
Oh my gosh...Amy....please don't eat anything like this ever again!! I would definitely check her poo all day today. I think tomorrow you should be out of the woods!!
Amy Amy Amy! You have put your mum and dad and their pocketbook through enough here lately little girl. Yes you do wonder what went through her mind...hmmm I just have this craving for a hanging plastic thingie. Well looky here is one hanging right here! Outta my way Ollie!
It is good you are seeing little plastic pieces at least things are moving through and the more little pieces you see, the smaller any big chunk (if there is one at all) would be. What is the biggest this thing could be? Have you looked around for the piece really well? Once many many moons ago, my Dane was playing with a rubber toy about the size of a donut. I turned away for 2 seconds, turned back and it was GONE. I panicked, I looked all over but no toy. I was racing around getting all the things I needed to rush him to the vet (with phone to my ear telling them I was coming in) and for some reason I went over to my desk, got behind it, lay down and looked under the part where the drawers are. The drawer area touches the ground in the front and sides but from the back there is a space above the floor. There was that stupid toy, Fred had to have flung it, hit the wall and perfectly shot itself into that tiny space. My boy almost had an endoscopy for nothing! So look in places you would never dream. Otherwise just keep watching the pooh and keep a mental note on how much of the missing part is gathering in the tiny pieces.
Here's hoping Amy is ok. Wonder if she thought it was string cheese? LOL In any case, Amy, stop scaring your mum and Dad! I hope you feel better soon!
Hunted high and low for the big bit to no avail. I've found other bits of plastic lying around her piddle mat was near the area I just put it out in th ebinb so it may have been there. I don't see her swallowing the a big bit. It happened some time during Thur our time and its now sat am. She appears Ok but I'l be happy some time early in the week.

heheheheheheheh...we eat ANYTHING - and I hit the jackpot in my big brudda''s room. He's a teeeenager and hates it when I root around in there and find good things to chew. Guess what's reeeealy good?! BASEBALL SWEATSOCKS!!!! Chewed the toes outta both of 'em before momma found me snackin' away. Now, mommas not sure if she should buy new baseball socks and try to pass them off as the same old ones or if she tells the big brudda da truf. He's gonna be soooo mad. He calls em the "lucky socks" 'cause they win when he wears dem.
I was da lucky one 'cause day tasted soooo goooood. Why was momma so mad? If they so "lucky" why was dey on da floor? I was just sayin' I wuv you and she toook dem away. My tummy's gurgling and I don't feel so good right now, but dey was soooo tastey. - Schatizie
Mom's Note: Yes, it's true - she'll eat anything. See my post a few weeks ago about the kitchen tile she deciided I needed to replace. Kitchen tile?! Okay, new one on the way. The "lucky baseball socks" my son insists is the key to winning games - not easy to replace. Grrrrrr!
