Just wanted to show you two of our precious seniors. Never have quite captured them like this. Melanie and I were watching a movie at home, eating some buttery popcorn -- and these two were very hopeful we'd toss some their way. On the left is Tootsie; she's 12 years old and the mother of Willie, who is 11 and on the right. Willie just adores her -- he grooms her -- but every now and then Tootsie still has to remind Willie to behave himself, giving a little nip.
Melanie rescued them from a shelter in Pensacola almost two years ago. A widower had dumped them there when his wife died. They are the sweetest dogs.
