Just a quick note --- 7 more inches of snow fell overnight and it is still snowing!  More later.....I'm off to work....ugh!  What a drive that is going to be........Dee

Oh Dee...I keep seeing your weather on the news and I worry about you guys, it just keeps coming! Please be really careful out there. I saw where it said you got 7 more inches and I was picturing the photos I saw here yesterday and thought man it's going to be up to their roofs if this doesn't stop! Check in when you get home.

Dee, will you please check in when you get home.  It looks like a mess out there! 

I am home safe and sound -- the drive home was much better than the drive in!  It took me an hour to drive 14 miles to work this morning!  The main road was plowed HOWEVER, it was a solid sheet of ice all the way with no de-icer or sand down from Greenacres to downtown Spokane.  There is so much snow that the plows have started putting snow berms in the middle of the roads so what may be a four lane is down to a two lane!  I avoided the freeway completely.  There were several roads closed due to blowing winds and snow drifts.  Felt like I needed ice skates on the tires....the Vue did just super.  And, surprisingly, most of the drivers were taking it very slow this morning.  That is a rare occurrence! But then, there were not many cars on the road because everything is shut down -- lots of businesses, schools, etc!   The boys including the hooman did just fine today......they stayed in where it was nice and warm.  The furkids did go out to do their business, tho.  I was out shoveling at 5:00 a.m., so they could do their business!  More snow is due tonight......somebody has got to stop doing the snow dance!  Take care, Dee

I have a "Snow Dance story" ....
When my two boys were young I was a Cub Scout Den Mother.  One time our den was  a "Weather Watcher" for a local TV station.  The station called for our report during our December meeting.  I told them we were making Christmas ornaments and we had glitter all over.  Some how that got translated and got reported that Cub Scout Den #10 in Milford was doing a SNOW DANCE  ..... two days later an "alert" went across the screen during the 6:00 News ...
