Title: What's on the menu for Super Bowl Sunday?
Post by: MimisMomma on January 30, 2008, 11:03:31 AM
We will be staying in for the game, so I have come up with a couple things to munch on. Sausage and peppers, hot wings, carmel popcorn, homemade, of course chips and dip. Maybe nachos or something. Little smokies too.

I was just wondering what everyone else is doing that day.

We are having some friends over and are planning on BBQ...sausage, burgers, bratwurst (tofu dog for the vegetarian). Also chips and dip and brownies!

Just our usual here:  Lil smokies slow cooked overnight in BBQ sauce, homade salsa, chips, crackers & cheese, juice for the kids, big people juice for the adults (lol), and who knows what else.....     GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!         :thumb:

I'm not a big pro football fan, but will probably have bbq chicken pizza and taco chips for Eddie and me.

GO PATS!!! Schatzie and I agree that Tom brady is one fiiiiine quarterback.  Goin' to a Pats Party with sub sanwiches, salsa, chips, chile, lil' smokie dogs and my famous guacamole.  All things are good in moderation, except for Patriots' wins.  We can't get enough of them here in MA.

Dan and I will be on the road driving back from Homer on Sunday, but I think we will be home by the start of the game, it starts at 3pm (I think) in Alaska.  I am not a big fan but I do enjoy watching the commercials.  I don't want to miss the Clydesdales.  Our dinner on Sunday will be tacos, something easy after the 6 hour drive home.

We will be staying home as well.  We will probably have chips and dip, veggies, cheeses, and summer sausage to nibble on, but I'm thinking BBQ ribs and onion rings for dinner.

I don't care who wins since the Colts, nor the Packers are there, but I do love to watch the commercials.
