On Sunday mornings, Margie usually gets up with Jessica and takes care of the Zs so I can sleep in after working a late night with my band. After everyone eats, Jessica and the Zs pile into the big bed to join me.
I don't know what prompted it, but as I am lying on my back, Zeke let out a single bark then leapt literally a foot up in the air. Suddenly, I find myself staring at the entire underside of a dachshund, in mid air, coming straight down towards my face. Fortunately, I was able to move my head before I ended up with a face full of dachshund. Zeke landed on my right shoulder and immediately began to give slurpy kisses.
None of my dachshunds had ever pulled a move like that! I kind of wish I had a video camera for that point-of-view shot. I would have slowed the footage down and played "Ride of The Valkyries" while Zeke was airborne and coming down towards me. We could have called the video "Dachspocalypse Now"

Gee whiz, David, considering your last thread, I would say that Zeke has been reading the compooter and saw that you missed listing one of his favorite spots!
Maybe he was trying to point out his "entire underside" for your edification and amusement!!
