Went to Walgreen's to pick up some scrips had the dogs in the car was told I had to wait 20 minutes so went back to the car to wait.A man pulled up next to us got out was looking in the car window which was up looking at the dogs,Patches went nuts barking and growling at him? Buddy just looked at him ? I praised Patches after the guy went into the store of course.Guess Patches is going to be the protector & Buddy the looker?
We had also went to where Buddy's breeder works as a vet tech she does Buddy's nails & Patches nails we go once a month she told me Buddy's Grandpa Ice died Saturday.He was 9 years old she said he ate well friday night,slept well friday night she let him go out to go potty saturday morning came back in pain. She could not figure out what was going on so took him to the vets where she worked they were trying to figure it out and he died.The vet did a necropsy found part of his blanket he had eaten wrapped around his intestine which had died guess he went into organ failure.All I could do is give her a hug and tell her how sorry I was to hear it not much else you can do. I could tell she is really beating herself up over it since she is a vet tech and all but you just never know what a dog will eat at any age I guess.

My two are very protective of me; moreso than my Australian Shepherd mix. She is so wussy! I am so sorry to hear about Buddy's grandpa dieing. You never know what dogs will eat and you can't watch them 24/7. Please tell your friend that it is not her fault. She could not forsee that happening.
