Title: Ramps
Post by: FansofDixie on January 10, 2008, 07:50:18 AM
Our "baby" Dixie sleeps in the bed with us.  She is usually very good about wakeing us when when needs or wants to get down, but sometimes she will jump down and we are afraid she will hurt her back.   I have been looking for a ramp that does not take over the room.  Any suggestions?

Dodger's List has some great options for ramps...that is where we got ours. http://www.dodgerslist.com/

My hubby is kind of handy and he built the ramps in our house.  He placed one alongside the bottom of our bed and one up to our chairs and couch.  We also utilize baby bed rails to block off the sides of our bed and any other vacant furniture we have that they could jump on.

We have purchased two ramps from the site Kari listed and Frida is a faithful user.  We purchased them after she had her back surgery, but we should have had them the whole time.  They are worth every penny!
