Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts over the last 2 months. Daisy was doing much better when her vet put her on previcox so we thought she was on her way to recovery. Well shortly thereafter she started dragging her front paw and then it just started giving out on her occasionally when she walked. Her vet wanted us to monitor her and keep her activity restricted to see if it got any better with time. She seems to be very comfortable (she'ss not howling in pain any more) she's playing with her toys sometimes but she' s still dragging the paw and it's still giving out on her. Her vet thinks that this time it is not her back but a cervical disk. He had thought that when she was howling in pain like she was as when she's had episodes with her back she's never done that. He suggested that we make an appointment with the neurologist that did her back surgery. We went on Monday to the neurologist and it looks likes she's in for another surgery. She's scheduled to have an MRI this Saturday. The good thing about this neurologist is that he said that if the MRI shows she needs the surgery when he goes in he will just take care of all her cervical disks. He said the cervical disks are much easier to access and fix than the disks in the back. Thanks again for all your good thought and support. I'll keep you posted on her. Tina
   :comfort: :comfort: :comfort: to your family and Daisy...please keep us posted Tina.
Rays headed Daisy's way as well as thoughts and prayers for your family! Keep us updated!
Sending rays for a complete recovery for Daisy. Clifford had to have 2 cervical surgeries after his lumber surgery. (Apparently there is 1 disc that can only be taken care of from the neck instead of the throat.) It's been 7 years now and he's doing fine. I'm sure Daisy will as well.
More rays on the way !!! Let us know !
Oh my, how scary. Will keep Daisy in my prayers.
