Title: Wood Floors
Post by: papbouv on December 29, 2007, 11:52:40 AM
Seems like allot of people have wood floors and tile floors I would think that would be bad for dogs especially Dachshunds know they are low to the ground but seems like they would slide easily.Know my Doberman Buddy slides on the kitchen floor even disrupting the small area rugs in the kitchen but he is a dork dog.I have carpet most every where hubby & I do not like cold floors so really not a problem at my house just wondering what every one thought about it.

Papbouv, we have tile in the kitchen/dining room and in the bathroom. We have a lot of small rugs and runners all over also.  My big dog seems to have more problems with slipping than my dachshunds.

We have laminate floors that are slippy, but being so low to the ground it doesn't seem to bother our Ceaser, with the Standard Poodle and her long legs its more problematic. Still they learn how to use it it seems....

We have tile in our dining room and kitchen. Penny absolutely hates it because it is cold! But we have carpet everywhere else!
