I'm twying hard not to be too happy about dis since mama is kinda sad, but she came home early fwom werk last night and told me dat we would get lots of time togedder for a while. Daddy told her she needs to just stay home for a while and dey can figure fings out later. So...mama and I are going to gwandma's house tomorrow to watch mama's fur-niece, "Cousin Patches" she is a C-A-T! I am really cited about spending time with mama and eben da cousin Patches.
I don't know if I told you all dis before but, Cousin Patches is 20 years old, deaf, and going blind. She requires extwa special care fwom me and mama. I'm gonna be a big helper and herd her around for mama. Sometimes when mama feeds her, she has to shove her nose (gently) into da food so she can see and smell it. Hu-Gwandma fought about putting her to the long sleep, but her quality of life has not diminished much. She is still da toughest cat on da block. Some days she has aches and pains, and doesn't like to clean herself, but her medicine helps her feel better. Mama sez I'm not allowed to jump on her cause her "Arthur-something" hurts her. :dontknow:
I pwomise to be on my best behavior till we get back next Saturday or Sunday. :angel4: Mama sez I can run wild when we get back home. I am looking forward to spending my days snuggling and playin' wif my mama.
