I'll start at da beginning but I'll warn ya...dis is a LOOOONG stowy. Thursday night we went to bed early cause mama was not feeling well and we had to get up early before the snow came. Friday morning we woke up at 4 am. There was already an inch or two of snow on the ground and it was still falling HARD. Daddy drove us to Aunt Mindy's house where we went back to bed until 7. At 7 we woke up and watched Aunt Mindy and daddy get ready for werk. Aunt Mindy's car got stuck in her driveway so daddy ended up gibing her a ride to werk and mama was in charge of getting Mindy's car out while they were at werk.
Mama tried and tried to get dat car out, but it was stuck...covered up to the frame in snow. (Keep in mind...this was in town!) So...she gibed up and went inside. Den she called da onwy person she knew could get it out.....her daddy. So...gwandpa and gwandma came ober to help get da car out. Gwandpa twied and twied and didn't get very far. He did manage to move it a little. Den mama and gwandma were standing outside in da cold, looking pitiful when a neighbor came home for lunch. Luckilly, he was a GENTLEMAN and came ober to help us. He told mama and gwandma to go inside or sit in his warm car and watch. He pushed and pushed and gwandpa gave it some gas. Den da car got unstuck and gwandpa parked it out front. He gab mama strict instructions to not drive it anywhere and just leave it there for the weekend.
Then mama and I went with gwanpa and gwandma to pick up Aunt Mindy fwom werk. When Daddy got home he and mama had to go to dis fing called a hearsal. I cried when mama left, but just for a little while. Den at 10pm mama and daddy came home and we went to bed.
At 3 am mama woke up and was SICK! :crazyeyes: She couldn't go back to sleep cause her head hurt to bad and her tummy hurt too. So..she stayed up till it was time to go to da church for da wedding. Once it was time Daddy and mama left me again. Aunt Mindy and I sat down and watched cartoons and snuggled under da bwankies on her couch. We pretty much snuggled all day. Mama will hab to post bout da wedding, I wasn't dere. :dontknow:
Den finawy at 8pm mama and daddy came home. Den dey ordered a pizza and started a movie. When da pizza came, it was da wrong order, so dey let us keep dose two pizzas for fwee and pwomised to bwing our real order in a little while. Den da two pizzas dey DID order came. So...den we had too much pizza!! :doah: Dey finished da movie and den sent mama to bed since her sinus infection was getting worse and she had a feber. Plus, we couldn't come home cause da roads weren't cleared enough yet.
Den Sunday, we slept in till 8 and watched movies all afternoon and mama and Aunt Mindy played a video game while daddy tried to get our car unstuck...again! Den we headed for home at 4 in da afternoon. We got stuck three times coming home. Den once we got in da dwiveway, we got stuck good. We had to grab all our stuff and walk down da driveway to come inside our house.
Our car is still stuck. And to top it all off, our propane heat went out. :cussing: So...not only are we stuck here, we are COLD!! Daddy went on his Moped to town to get gwandpa's pickup and then he'll try to tow us out. :rolleyes: Good fing mama doesn't werk till 3 and daddy has da day off. Da man is coming to fix our heat tomorrow. So...until den we will use our oil heaters and cook stuff in da oven.
Wow! Porkey! That was some weekend you all had. I bet everyone there can't wait for summer now. I hear that there is more snow coming this way. Hope you guys don't get that much more. We had an additional 4 inches over the weekend and starting Wednesday night through Saturday snow everyday mixed with freezing rain!! Hope you get your heat back!!

We're supposed to get more snow on Wednesday and Friday, but we don't know how much yet. It was a WILD weekend. We need another weekend just to rest. Porky has been snoozing off and on all morning. I have been running a fever of 102 since last night and have a sinus headache the size of Texas! So...I plan on resting until I have to go to work at 3 this afternoon. If our car is still stuck, i'll just take the day off.
I would think you would need to stay home regardless. 102 is nothing to take lightly. Man oh Man. I wish I had the money to buy you a ticket to a tropical island for Christmas. You need to long rest!! (Not to mention its warm, calm, and really nice to look at)

From Willy and Alex: Porkey Pie, you guys have the BEST adventures!!! Sounds like you had a blast! Stay home and make your humans stay there too. If you gotta be "stuck" anywhere, its best to be stuck at home.
My goodness Porky Pie...what a week-end. Sounds like you and Aunt Mindy got some really good cuddle time in. It is terrible getting stuck in the snow and all....and then momma being sick. You tell your momma to stay home from work today or she never is gonna get better!!! Maybe momma should call the doctor and have a prescription sent to her to take care of her fever and make her feel better. Be a good boy today and take care of your momma :thumb:
