Well they say not to work with kids.......................I take it the treat did'nt work with said child or did she not like liver treats.
Your model above looks very well behaved, and beautiful as ever.

Roberta, I'll be laughing over that one all day,and that's good for a Monday a week before Christmas when EVERYONE decides they need to get their teeth cleaned before Christmas and the end of the year. I think it's funny Dee Dee since most photographers would rather work with kids than animals! At least you've found your niche, and can just stick to it!
Hallie, you look beautiful and can show the kids how it is supposed to be done!

I'm sorry your photo shoot didn't go well.  What was it about the shoot that was so bad?  Was the child just not cooperative?  I'll have to bring Lara out for a photo shoot....she's a very easy subject to work with.  Of course, I may be just a wee bit biased.  LOL!!!

Beautiful pictures of Hallie, of course, as always!

Muave is her color! But then, it's hard to find a color that doesn't suit such a perfect child!

Maybe that's what DD's problem was...she had the wrong flavor of treats! You are too funny, Roberta! I like that!

I thank God every day for my kid-less friends.  We'll take care of each other in our old age, OK?

LOL too funny Roberta, yeah I just couldn't figure out why those liver treats were not working! They work great on my usual clients! LOL!

Cheryl it would have been bad enough if I was by myself but having Hallie there and to worry about made it way worse. I was a nervous wreck and had to keep her in her crate in the locked van which was no fun for her but way too big a risk of her getting hurt otherwise. And worse yet that there was constant begging and demanding to get Hallie out...which of course wasn't about to happen.

Teresa ha,I didn't realize there was a glut of people coming in to get their teeth cleaned before Christmas! But it makes sense! I guess just about everyone gets the busy pre holiday time LOL. And yes I think I'll leave the kid shoots to those photographers who don't like animals... :) Actually I've retired from doing photo shoots of all kinds, events and private shoots, I will just now do ones for stock and of course Hallie and of animals I would like to paint from or commissions, which was the whole point of getting into photography in the first place.

Beth, uncooperative...yes that is one of many words I would use here. LOL! I always said I won't do kid shoots or people shoots but caved into this one, now when I say "no" I can back it up with bad experience!  Actually I've never had a good experience with a child, I wish I had met some like Lara!

Thanks Kari I had to salvage the day with a couple of Hallie shots!

LOL Delia...I did keep getting a knee jerk reaction to get her attention the same way I do with the dogs. I'd of course realize right away I can't use those and then I was stumped.  :thinik:

Haha Patty....me too! It's a deal we'll have to stick together when we get old and sit and tell stories about all our doxies we have had!  :thumb:
