Title: Doxebo
Post by: Dee Dee and Hallie on December 14, 2007, 09:23:36 PM
Muther has been walking me in the DARK so we can see the purty Christmas lights she sez. I just like it cuz it's cold and that makes me frisky! I run and run and it isn't wet so I am happy although I can't shake like I like to, I have my harness on here, then my Long Johns (tm) and then another coat on top of that so I'm too packed for a full shake. We jest got home from our run and she got this picture of me. We also drove through the Living Christmas Pageant at the Church, I get to sit in Mom's lap while we drive thru slow (wrapped up in my new Christmas blankie from TX!!) and look at all the scenes. Mom was laffin' at a goat who was in a scene and the moving spot lights were lighting up the straw around him like when you move a flashlight around the floor for a cat (or doxie) to chase and the goats head was whippin left and right and in circles following the lights.

Looks like your walk'in in a winter wonderland girlie.....................cool . We've just had Friday high 30's C approx a 100 F then to-day in typical Melbourne fashion its 17C about 65 F and thank goodness rain.
We have not walked them for a few days as the temp when we get home it mid 20's.

From Willy and Alex: Looks like a nice night.  Its cold here, minus 2 at the moment.  We can't go out, not because of the cold although it IS too cold for us, but because wolf packs have been taking down pet dogs, and our mom is very protective of us.   Geez, and we thought all we had to worry about was the eagles.

I can't imagine weather that warm right now Roberta! It will be a looong time before we'll see temps like that again.

On the other hand...I can't imagine weather that cold Patty! Brrrr. It was in the low 40s when I was walking Hallie. This is the retirement community where my Aunt that recently passed away lived (my Uncle is still there so we go visit him). It's a wonderful place to walk because it's gated and no big dogs allowed, and lots of nice sidewalks and landscaping, some nice ponds and very little traffic! Just people who live there and they always drive real sloooow. Plus many of the seniors are out walking and they always stop to pet Hallie which makes her day too. There are very few places left around here where I'd walk her in the daylight much less night so this is a real gem. I am really loving walking after dark on a nippy evening with all of the Christmas lights.

Eagles and Wolves!!! Wholly Moley! I think I'd need oxygen. I don't blame you for not letting the dogs out, I can't imagine seeing either of those in my back yard.

She looks all cozy and Christmassy! LOL! I bet between the Long John's and the other coat, she looks like those kids that can't move their arms or legs!!!

It's hard to believe there is that extreme of a difference in climates - Roberta's and Patty's.

OH, now I get it... Doxebo....ahhh LOL :2funny:
I just need to know how you get Miss Hallie to behave?  If it were a pic of my two, you would see Delilah gnawing on the side of the gazeebo and Franky would be scooting his bum across the floor.
PS shes as beautiful as ever!
