Title: ANGEL KISSES (something easy and different)
Post by: PattyInAK on December 14, 2007, 02:03:19 PM
Angel Kisses
·   2 egg whites, beaten
·   One 6 oz. bag chocolate chips
·   1 cup chopped nuts (I used sliced almonds)
·   2/3 cup sugar
1.   Turn oven on to 350F
2.   Beat egg whites until stiff.
3.   Beat in sugar.
4.   Fold in nuts and then chips, slowly.
5.   Drop by teaspoon full onto aluminum foil covered cookie sheet.
6.   Place in oven, TURN OFF HEAT. DO NOT OPEN OVEN FOR ANY REASON UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING (8-10 hours).
7.   Then take them out and enjoy.
8.   Makes about 24 kisses.
These cookies are very delicate, light and airy.
Winner â€" Alaska State Fair, First Place, 2004
