How did the wedding go? Wasn't it this month? I think it was your cousin, wasn't it, that was getting married and determined to make it as soon as possible? Terri's post of her daughter's wedding reminded me.
And since we're doing updates...how did the award thingie go at work? Inquiring minds want to know! :grin:
It is my sister-in-law. (A.k.a Bridezilla) Anyway....the wedding is the 15th so this saturday!! I am counting down the days. :2funny: It should be really beautiful but I'm afraid she's not going to set many people there because she just got her invitations out three weeks ago! I found out about the bridal shower the night before. I still have no idea what we are supposed to do that day. All I know is I have a dress I am wearing, shoes, and someone somewhere is doing my hair...sometime.
She is doing everything so last minute its making us crazy!! :crazyeyes: I'm the maid of honor so I'm supposed to be helping. But, its hard to help when you have no idea what's going on. We only had ONE fitting of our dresses so I'm hoping mine will fit. I tried it on a week before Thanksgiving and it was REALLY tight. It has no zipper in the back or anything so if it doesn't fit on that day, I hope she has a back up plan. :dontknow: :xfinger: There is another girl who wears the same size as me who is much more edowed so since I had trouble getting the dress over that area, I'm sure she will too. I was the only bridesmaid at the shower since no one knew about it. And I was VERY late because I had to work.
At this point, I'm not worrying about the wedding being a disaster. It's her wedding if she wants everyone confused and to have a hectic day, I guess its her choice. :evil: I'm half tempted to show up at the church a half hour before the wedding with no hair done or make-up since I haven't been told otherwise. Although the nice part of me says that wouldn't be fair. :angel4: So...I'll be there early. I will be so glad when its over. This is more stressful than when I planned my OWN wedding by MYSELF!
Ok...sorry...I'm done venting. I promised myself no more venting, just scream and let it go. :wink: Hopefully the wedding will go smoothly. I'm just going to go with the flow and hope that everything works out. :xfinger:
As for the award thing at work. We STILL don't know! Its driving us all crazy. We were supposed to find out last Monday but are still waiting a week later. As soon as I find out if we got it or not I'll let you all know.
Oh that's right, it's December already! The wedding sounds very disorganized. I hope it works out OK. If nothing else there will be a lot of stories for the grandkids! :grin:
I forgot about the award too, have you memorized all your lines? Hopefully you won't be the one who gets called. I hope your gym wins...
Well, considering the fact that they were supposed to call two weeks ago, and haven't yet...we aren't too worried about it. My boss has been calling them daily to check about the award. She said she's going to call until they give her a yes or no.
I know it is not your wedding but since you have one coming up I thought this would bring a smile to your face!!!
