:meme: :hello2: :apls: :meme: :hello2: :apls: WOOHOOO!!! We finally got some significant snow!! We got up to about an inch of snow on the ground this morning at 5 am. and it was still snowing. Mama went to work and then had to drive home. A 9 mile trip took her a half hour!! :idiot: Since we just sold da subaru we don't hab da four wheel drive anymore. :doah: Mama's maximum speed coming home was 25mph! Eben den she was slippin' and slidin' in some spots. In town is a mess because da snow is a WET snow. Dey got 1 1/2 inches in town. Den out at our house we hab 2-3 inches already and snow is still fallin'. Dere isn't much ice but the snow is wet and slushy so it really makes you slide. Mama did dese really cool fings in da car called cookies. :headbang: You can't eat dem or nuthin' but it was sooo much fun! Mama didn't fink so, but I liked it. We onwy did two of dose. Don't worry we weren't in danger cuz no one else was trying to drive on dat part of da road....and we were onwy going 10mph. Mama had me inside me cwate and strapped in with the seat belt so I was nice and secure.
Mama has to go back to work dis afternoon and she has to make up her mind by 12:30 if she is going to try going into town again or not. Da weatherman can't make up his mind weather its going to quit in the afternoon or get worse. Bisibility ( whateber dat is) is pretty bad so mama's leaning towards takin' da rest of da off. :hello2: Den we can snuggle and drink hot coccoa. Well, I can't hab da coccoa. We are supposed to hab 4-9 inches by tomorrow night. Mama finks it would be fair for her to call in since she already worked three and a half hours this morning. Somebody who lives in town can work instead. Da onwy fing is her boss is VERY sick, so she would feel awful if her boss had to go in for her. :thinik: We'll just hab to keep finking about it and watch da noon news.
Wowwie, wowwie...we are so glad you finally got some significant snow! But I have one question.....I thought they were called donuts instead of cookies? Anyway, whatever they are called, that sure sounds like loads of fun. Enjoy! And I hope your momma can take off work this afternoon and snuggle with you!!!

It depends on who you talk to if you call it a donut or a cookie. LoL They call them by both names around here. I still can't believe Porky liked going around like that. Scared the crap outta me, but he gave his "happy grunt" both times it happend. Maybe he likes the dizzy feeling? :dontknow: If one more school closes, I'm going to take the day off. There are two area schools closing at 1 so I'm waiting for the one closest to here to close. Then I'll have "proof" the weather is just too bad for me to go in. :wink: Its my perfect plan....at least until something goes wrong. Lol
Glad you got some snow finally!! Donuts is what I grew up with in Ohio! Cookies are for blue monsters right? :nana: Sounds like a lot of fun for Porkey!! Driving scares the you know whats out of me so I know how you feel!! How is the weekend weather looking for you at that end? Here is snow both days (well that is what they are saying now)
The worst snow is supposedly coming tomorrow. And then we'll have a little Sunday.
