DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
too cranky, but it felt good to write it down and then erase it.
Love you all.
LOL, Les! I don't know what you deleted but I bet it was good!!! You're pulling me out of the closet, here, but I'm kinda grinchie!!!
well, and I am not dissin' the Lord here, but the Christmas Carol lyric: "And Christ was born on Christmas day." Just sends me up a wall. I mean, good thing, eh?
Like what are the chances that Lou Gehring would get Lou Gehring's disease?
MEMEMEMEMEMEEMe.................... Just no Christmas Spirit in me this year. :verdict: :BangHead:
:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:
Leslie...I know how you feel....mine is not so much grinchie but just overwhelmed with all I have to do!! My mom is elderly so I have to do all her shopping, etc., too!! Sigh.....
When I worked for the Carriage Company, I swear, if I heard one more "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, Robin Laid An Egg......" I was going to go POSTAL!!! :cussing:
But I do like the holiday season. I don't go out for all the shopping, I do that online or make my gifts.
Family Bah Humbug!
It's not to late to cancel and take a cruise is it? (oh wait, that was in a movie and look what happened to them!!)
I don't know that this makes him a grinch exactly - but here is another view of the whole Christmas thing:

We Live Like Kings
I'm not necessarily feeling like the grinch.....but, my holiday spirit is low.......I'm just not feeling it this year. And, Janet, I agree with Chris' view on the blog.
Wow - I so agree with Chris' blog ! Just can't get into the spirit and it gets harder and harder each year. I see how much my loved ones have and compare to so many less fortunate - and the older I get - the more that bothers me.
Well, let's just say I like to lay low this time of year. Those of you who know me, know that I do not celebrate the Holidays for religious reasons but also for the mere fact that I have never felt comfortable with "obligated giving". Mark and I and most in my family like to give gifts to each other year round when it isn't "expected." We enjoy getting together when we can and not on one or two "expected" days of the year. Family time should be celebrated year round and Good wiill should be exercised on a daily basis. Doing your part to promote Peace should be on your daily "to do" list and practicing the "fruitage of the spirit" (love, joy, peace, etc) should be part of our year round personalities. As each new day presents itself, I pray that I may be able to reflect the spirit of Christ and show myself thankful for God's blessings. At this time, I'd like to thank all of YOU for being my friends. I've known many here for a very long time. Please know that you all have a special place in my heart. So while I won't wish you a Merry Christmas, I will extend my heartfelt love to you and wish you the best of days today and tomorrow and all year round.
Friendship forever,
Sandi
Sandi - very well said..... I love your idea of giving when it is least expected - that is a true gift !
It is said so many times and so true..... that we need to really step back and remember the reason for the season and rejoice in that.
I'm much the same Santa came to Melbourne in the middle of nov......... my view is they will not have to take them down soon. Nick's MUm keeps moaning about "why don't we go out for Xmas lunch" every other day, me I'd rather stay home in my old shorts and chill, I hate getting done up to go out and shovel food down usually poor quality food that you have paid big bucks for so they can get another sitting in or get home to their own.
The only good thing is the days off work 20/12 till 2/1 whahooooooooooo
I do love Christmas at my mum's as its a day we all spend together we usually all meet for breakfast at mums open our Kris Kringle we do now, picnic somewhere for Lunch as everyone else is at home.... and have a BBQ at night all i n shorts or bathers. The main thing is to be together and that includes the dogs.

Shorts or bathers HERE would result in some serious frostbite in places that I wouldn't want to think about. I am hosting a small Christmas dinner this year and believe me, it's almost a relief to cook for a small group than join the 13 others at MIL. Looking forward to it.
But, after 6 continuous hours of Christmas music today in the office the *#&@%!$ Chipmunk song came on about 30 minutes before closing. Leslie got up and shut off the radio. (&%^$@#! chipmunk song.
