....and I am trying to decide where to have it. The Borough and our Domingo's Garden subdivision are driving me totally nuts. They are really jerking our chain and pushing our buttons, if ya know what I mean. What next??? Its just one thing after the other. Can't tell you how many "just this one last thing" I have taken care of. Its making me freakin crazy. I hate to complain, Dan and I stand to make a few bucks once we can put those lots up for sale. In the meantime we are being drained of everything, money and patience. The only person in our corner is our road builder, Jim. He has been there throughout the entire project, and has been "politely mean" to certain people when needed. He and Dan have been on the phone daily, keeping fires lit under people to keep the ball rolling. And trust me, you don't want Dan and Jim on your back, they are pretty scary guys, they look scary, and are very persistent. I imagine the Borough will sign us off soon just to get those two off their back. But I still think I deserve a nervous breakdown, and a nice place to have it. Was thinking of a bed and breakfast in Seattle so I can go and shop at Pike Street Market. Was also thinking of Homer, Alaska. My sister lives there and always has good wine on hand. Dan and I are planning on a weekend there the first of February.......we're going to a wine-tasting dinner at Land's End on Homer Spit. But thats in February, I need relief NOW!!! Might have to take Dan and myself out to dinner at our favorite restaurant in Wasilla -- Evangelos. And this time I will order an appetizer AND dessert, I can always take the entree home to eat for lunch the next day. I've already taken that first step towards my nervous breakdown......I bought a case of champagne the other day.
We think you should have it over here in sunny Spain....
Or in Sunny San Diego...
How about a trip to Texas.... we could go chill out at Cozymels !!!!!! Just pop the cork on that champagne AND go to your favorite place to eat !!!!
Patty we can relate ................its taken 6months of permits etc and they have just started the foundations then our neighbor from hell kicks in again. Come down under and we can have a breakdown together.
Roberta

Patty, sorry I am late responding to this....tis the Season you know...but you are more than welcome to come to Cincinnati and pop that cork with us!! We can take a ride on a Paddlewheeler and go down to the Casino in Indiana to gamble....that will take your mind off everything!!!!
That sounds like a plan. Maybe Porky, my husband and I should schedule one as well. If the chaos would just stop long enough for us to pencil it in. :
Well your out travelling the country in hopes of finding the perfect place for the breakdown, be sure to pop down to Tampa... The weather is gorgeous at this time of year and breakdowns happen at my house on a regular basis! You would feel right at home! AND.... I love champagne!
