Did you take her to the new vet this morning?

Thanks for asking. Chilie is doing fine. I did take her to the new vet this morning, and I love them! They are soooo nice and when I brought Chilie in, everyone just loved her. And to me, that's one good sign that we have a good vet. Chilie has been able to keep rice and hamburger down, and she hasn't thrown up since Wednesday. The doctor was very nice and very thorough. She checked her tummy and didn't feel anything unusual, but she did say that Chilie seemed to have a little pain when she touched her tummy because she was arching her back to get away from the vet's hand. They got her to poop outside and did a parasite sample which came up negative. It could have been something that she got into outside, or just a stomach bug. But she's on the mend now. She's had rice and hamburger today and some treats, and so far so good. Whatever it was, I think it has run it's course.
I am very happy with our new vet. When we were leaving, there was another doxie coming in. A little red smooth boy, and he was shaking because he knew where he was!

I'm glad to hear that Chili is OK, and has a fabulous new vet! I forget to check these other boards and certainly don't mean to appear indifferent to problems that everyone's having.
