Whateber dat means. :dontknow: Mama said dat when she FINALLY came home dis afternoon. I'll tell ya bout da parts i know den mama can tell ya da rest. Dis morning I get rudely awakened by my daddy. :cussing: He's screaming somefing about six o clock. Den mama and him jump outta da bed, mama runs to da dresser starts frowing clothes eberywhere. Den she frows some on. Den she runs outta da bedwoom door. Den, two seconds later, she runs back in and sez, "Oh! Porky Pie! Run, Kennel!" So I wadlled (slowly) out of da bedroom. Den Mama sez "No Porky Pie,FAST!" I gab her da l@@k and den I ran into my cwate. Mama slams da door. Next fing I know, I hear da front door slam, and hear da car dribing off! :cussing: Den....nofing for a LOOONG time. About 8 or 9 daddy comes home, puts my out to do my business den stuffs me back in my cwate and leaves. "HELLO!! Stupid hooman!! It's bweakfast time!!" :cussing: Den I wait and wait and wait....nobody comes. Next fing I know is dis weird lady getting me out of my cwate. She talks really nice, den i smell her, she's da neighbor. She takes me outside and gibs me some water. Den she puts my back in my cwate. :BangHead: I hear all dis banging and clanging den she comes back. She lets me out of my cwate and she opens da door. "UM...Lady I NEED my leash!" I wouldn't go out till she told me to. Den I got to go play outside in my fenced yard!!! :meme: Dats what all dat noise was.
Now Mama's story:
First of all, our alarm didn't go off, and my husband and I woke up at six am. I am supposed to be at work at 5:45 and open the club by 6! So we rushed and literally flew out of the house. I made it to work safely by 6:15. We live 10 minutes away from my work, (in the country). Then I open and let the clients in, needless to say, they are angry! So...I explained to them what happened and they laughed. Work went great after that. Thank God!
After work, my husband and I had some errands to run in town. First we get a flat tire and have to change it, takes us an extra half hour in town. Then we decide to get lunch since we were both starving. Lunch takes FOREVER at McDonald's the grill breaks half way through our order. :doah: We FINALLY get our food and I realize its 1 already! Then I call our neighbor lady and ask her to let out Porky who is probably desperate by now. Then we try to finish our errands. Well the rest of our "quick" errands end up taking us till 3! I try to call the neighbor lady again to ask her to feed Porky and take him for a quick walk, No answer. So we rush through our last errand and drive home. We get home and I see Porky standing in the yard. :thinik: "This is odd." Then I see the neighbor lady and her daughter sitting on our porch. Apparently, the neighbor lady let Porky out when I first called and noticed he was enjoying the sunshine. She took it upon herself to hang up the gate and finish the fence around the yard! :crazyeyes: Wow! Then she took Porky for a ride in her truck to get her daughter from school. When they got back, she played outside with him until we got there.
I am so happy she took care of my baby for me today. I offered to pay her for taking such great care of him, but she refused.
As you can definately see, we had our Monday today. :2funny: Nothing went right!! Until we finally got home that is, it was the perfect end to a stressful day! Seeing my baby running in the sunshine happy as ever. Thank God for great neighbors!! :apls:
Wow That was a Monday!! And the turn out sounds great. It is so nice to hear that you have such a loving neighbor towards Porky!! He must be really happy! I think you made the right choice to move to this house!! And I am sure that helped you feel a little better too!!

Wow...wow...wow.....so sorry the day went awful in the beginning, but wow...wow...wow....I WISH I HAD NEIGHBORS LIKE YOU!!! What a nice person she is to be so helpful. Very glad she is an animal lover and Porky must really like her. You made a great choice to move to this new home.... :thumb:
