Mom said she was remodeling the whole utility room just for me. But she never said it would include BATHS! I got my first one in my new sink tonight. Mom was a bit more thrilled than I was but I have to admit it was nicer than my old one. There is a soft cushy mat in the sink so I don't slip, I actually sat right down on it I never sat in my old tub. After Mom finished scrubbing me up, she towel dried me then set me on another cushy mat and I got blow dried. Now I am helping Mom do a Santa/Dog photo shoot at a dog show tomorrow so I'm all clean and smellin' good!
Mom used her cheap camera here, the walls are actually a pale green...
Oooooh poor grrrrrrrl! You are kinda tiny when you're wet. 'Scuse the words, but you kinda look like a drowned....nevermind. Your new sink is COOL!
LOL aunt Sandy...it's OK we're all thinkin' that! She is just a little "tube" under all that hair.
I forgot the hair dryin' one.
Are you sure thats not Amy you have there.
You poor wee thing you look as if you have been abused..............but your new sink is great ................but you really are gorgious its worth pain.
Roberta
That looks like a great new setup, Ms Hallie. And I certainly recognize the look being shown in picture #2 (vengence is being contemplated...)
Awwww Hallie - quite the beauty parlor set up you have !!!! What a cutie pie girl !
Wow - what a fancy setup!! That is a really great size sink for baths!!
Way to smear on da guilt Miss Hallie! You look weally sad in da picture where you're soaking wet. As for me, I love my baffs. I am so jealous dat you gots your own baff room!! No fair. Maybe your momma could build me a room too?
You know Roberta, I have been wondering what Hallie would look like if I didn't blow dry her. I also put the straightening product in her hair that I use in mine. I should try letting her air dry sometime and see what happens. Do you blow dry Amy?
LOL Mike, sounds like you've seen that look on Cliffords face! "note to self...kill 'em later!"
Barb something about a soaking wet baby...just sooo cute!
Kari I went through so many hoops to get that sink! I had Hallie with me at Home Depot and we were setting her in all the sinks that were on display there to test for size. It was hard to tell though, I wasn't sure if being that shallow if the water would spray onto the walls (I had a bathtub for her before, up at waist level). We ordered a stainless steel one finally but then realized it was an undermount which I didn't want (I knew I would always worry it would fall through with Hallie in it!) so they sent it back and we had to find another but couldn't find one the right size, etc. at least not under $1000.00! Finally we found this one and had to wait yet another 10 days for it. The construction guys thought I was nuts. I was already getting it from them for the ramps, her "collar wardrobe" that hangs from the wall, her strollers, her front window, her many beds, etc.
Porky, Hallie says you can come use her bathtub! Maybe it would wear out faster if it were used more! She actually doesn't mind her bath. She is such a good girl and sits real still and she loves the blow drying and the brushing part especially. She is definitely all "little girl".
Oh, Hallie...you get dolled up in style, girl! DD, that looks like such a neat set-up! I bet all the misery of getting it done is worth it now. I wish I had the room to do something like that here. Good job!
Dee Dee I don't blow dry her as she is scared to death of the dryer if you bring it near her, so I'd Ms H would be wavy. She has one of the most pathetic faces I've seen.
Roberta
Delia I'll have to send you photos of the whole room once it's put back together it is such a change!
I'll get brave and try that Roberta! It is so cold here it's hard to let her air dry she shivers. I should have tried it this summer. I'll let both her and my hair air dry and take a picture and we can use it for Halloween next year LOL.
We just crank the central upto about 25-26 C and not let her out till she drys.
Roberta
Oliver here, Iz dry really easy it the over haired one that gets us like queensland in the middle of winter.
Wow, did I get lucky! I got my stainless steel 10 inch deep sink from home depot for under $200.
AND. . . somebody stole MY idea! (From the back o the current issue of "Cottage Living".)
Karen
Aww, you just take the cutest pictures.
:hello2: :hello2: Wow what wonderul pictures and a wonderful set-up you have DD....I would love to have something like that her for my babies.....Congratulations on a great room....and such a beautiful little girl who uses it!!
Good idea Roberta! I'll just let us both air dry...on a day where we don't have to go anywhere. LOL. We should have done this for Halloween! I know what MY hair will look like air dried....but not sure what to expect with Hallie's!
ROTFL!! You do crack me up Karen. Where do you find these things!!!
Wow you did get a deal on your sink. Mine wasn't that good but I did not pay anywhere near $1000 for the sink we ended up with! LOL. I wanted a large one though and it was hard to find the dimensions I wanted. I always have to be difficult!
Thanks Luvmygunner and Cheryl, it still is so strange to walk out there and have it be WARM. It never had heat before...
Karen I take it thats a photo of you on a Good Day?
Roberta
Hey, Karen - I got mine in the back of Elle Decor, or House Beautiful. I even saved that one to keep in my Internet notebook for houseplans. I love the wallpaper! (There's a whole series, and I have 8 of the 9, btw. One is Little Red Riding Hood, and one has a woman dressed like one of the Hindu goddesses in a fancy shower...
Some of the new homes I've looked at recently, have a very deep sink like Hallie's, in the utility room, along with lots of counter space - too cool!
How adorable... love the cottage living photo too.. she actually looks the exact same size as my shorthaired girl when wet... crazy how much bigger that does make them look.
Love the bathtime area... my girls too get bathed in the sink, where else do ya bathe such little ones? And she turned out lovely.
Poor Hallie... As I recall, Conrad and Finnious both tested out the old sink while we were out there! This one looks much more pupper friendly :)
While I use the bathtub for the Zs, Max-angel would be put in the bathroom sink. He looks as forlorn as Hallie does!

Clarese and Cornbread! :hello2:
How are Cornbread and Pinhead?? Way too long - No talk to! Fill us in!
Did the boyz get a bath in a bathtub that was at waist level? I can't remember what was in there before the bathtub! That was a looong time ago LOL. So good to see you we want C and F pics!
What a great shot of Max David. I can't believe he fit in a bathroom sink! I can see Hallie sitting in a sink and growing 4 times her size as her hair soaks up all the water LOL. Max was a very good boy!
You are so lucky to have your own bathtub.
Max-Angel in the bathroom sink - the indignity of it all!
Dr. Laura Schlesinger Leaky :exactly:
Hallie sez it's luck all right, just not sure which kind!
Dr. Leaky...you and your Mom!! LOL!! She should be rich by now writing screen plays or something! :2funny:
You poor thing Hallie, I don't get blow-dried, but please don't give my mama ANY ideas.... I have a warm snuggly place for you right next to me under the covers - try sneak any next time... Heino
LOLOL!! I'm sorry, Hallie girl. I had to laugh. If looks could kill....
It's as if she's saying, "Mom, put down that camera and finish my grooming! A lady should not be seen when she's not decent."

Corn is great. Fim is having some neck problems. Looks like he may need another surgery (the problem keeps reoccurring and gets wors each time - this episode seems particularly bad). Denise is taking him in for accupuncture today, to see if that helps him out any. We'll see what happens from there.
