Remembering my sweet boy.......
A heart of gold stopped beating, Two shining eyes at rest. God broke my heart to prove, He only takes the best. God knows you had to leave me, But you did not go alone. For part of me went with you, The day he took you home.
Looie was our rescue boy. We did not know the date of his birth so he shared his brother's date - the year was 2002.

Hi Dee and Dave,
I'm glad you're feeling well enough to post this. It was evident that he was a sweet boy by his pictures and stories. How is Sarge doing?
He was a handsome boy. I love looking at that sweet face. Hope you are doing well.

What a wonderful tribute to Looie. He was such a Beautiful boy. Thank goodness you found each other. Rest in Peace Sweet Looie....God Bless
It's amazing how much one dachshund located at the opposite end of the country from where we reside, not to mention a dachshund that we never met, can touch our lives the way Looie did. There have been many dachshunds that have come and gone on this board. Looie belongs to a select few who truly came to life through your stories and pictures, and ended up becoming part of our family as well. God speed to Looie, and may the both of you and Sargey be blessed for sharing his life with us.
Thank you so much for sharing this post with us Dee. I know it must still be horribly difficult to lose your sweet Louie. You and Dave and Sargey have been in my prayers.
Wasn't Looie in charge of patrolling for the marauding lawn mowers??
Karen
