did you let them out of the baby pen during the day when you are not there. Amy is fed up of being in there during the day when we are not there, but I'm still paranoid in that field.
It is now 13 weeks and she is doing really well, but I don't know whither I'm just to paranoid.

amy here, all I do is sleep with Ollie all day, but it would be nice to snuggle up during the day ans not be a cage, it would be nice to go out to go girlies as I is a goooood girlie.
I waited until hubby had all the ramps built both inside and out of the house as I was absolutely terrified of re-injury during the day when we were not home. I was afraid because I have two other dogs and they like to "play with each other" and Sheba is a 55 pound dog. So...I would say it was about 4 months...just because I was scared and hubby had lots of ramps to build both inside and out to our doors (3 of them) leading outside the house. It's so wonderful how well wee Amy is doing.... :thumb:
Ack that is a hard one. I had already started working from home when Jessie had her surgery years ago. It was several months after Hallie had her little bout last summer before I'd leave her home alone, but I'm sure she would have been fine. How about if you leave her out for an hour or so on a day you are home and come back to see how she did? I have a feeling it is more an issue of you getting to the point of trusting that she will be ok rathter than the risk of her actually being ok...
Or how about an interim set up of some kind where she has more freedom but can't get clear out and romp with her brudder yet?
When we are home she is free to roam the house, they have a big ramp out the back door and is not allowed and cannot get out the front unless we open the front door. Its the big Brother part that is in my mind. I know from watching during the day is he runs out the back dogie door she is the follower, and is ususally about 6 paces behind him out the door, I'm just not sure wha tthey do during the time we are away I think sleep, but if the postman has a box and comes to the front to leave it on the porch I know they go balistic and I worry he might land on her. But I suppose I should maybe start leaving them out when I just pop round to the shops. I'm just paranoid, I am thinking of taking her to get the once over at the physio.
The vet when he took the last stitches out said her back leg muscles and back were like little rocks, and we are now up to walking the whole block.
