Title: We're Back After A Long Time
Post by: LesleyandStrudel on October 21, 2007, 09:05:26 AM
Hi everyone!  Strudel and I used to post here all the time when she was a puppy.  Life got in the way, but in the process we got a new home, a much calmer life style, and Strudel still loves to beat up on her kitty sister Elmo!  Strudel's 10 now, I can't believe it, and she's been doing very well over the years.  She's had a history of recurring Lyme disease, and is currently suffering from a bladder problem I'm asking about in a separate post, but overall, she's been fine.  She's been my Best Friend, my Life Partner, and my Loving Owner.  You know, she's a DACHSHUND!!  I noticed a couple of names I recognize from way back, and to you I say hi -- and I'll enjoy getting to know some of the newer people here!  :hello3:

Hey!  Welcome back Lesley and Strudel!  We remember you.  Has it been that long?  Wow!

Remember us, Dolly, Madison and Mommy Sandi?  Sadly, we lost Dolly to a growth on her liver last March.  Maddie is doing well, except for a case of the itchies that have landed her in the cone zone wearing the lampshade thingy.  She is slowly getting better and is allowed some time out of the cone with supervision.  We are trying new grain-free foods for her, just incase it was grain products that were bringing on the bumps and itches.

Hope you can post often.

Bye!
