Dis mornin' mama was acting funny. She threw my toy for me down de hall a bunch of times... usually she throws it a couple times, and den my breakfast bowl shows up on de floor and I eat. BUT dis morning, Brandy was eatin' HER breakfast....but mama dus kept throwing my toy....my bowl nebber showed up :dontknow: Anoder wierd ting - she left my harness on after our walk ????
DEN.....when Brandy was finished eatin' she picked up the bowl and grabbed some stuff off the counter and said, "Come on kids"......but MAMA - wait - you neber put my bowl down - whats de deal ?!?!?!?!?! :meme: I hungry mama ???
(Barb here - the kids are having dentals today and Rudy couldn't eat before. I did take some of Brandy's soft food for him once he wakes up. Brandy is having a hand dental - her blood work showed elevated bile acids, so Dr. Cowser didn't feel comfortable putting her under. We have been dealing with bile acids issues since I have had her - so she might have to have an ultrasound to take a look at her gall bladder. A few rays our way for both kids would be helpful !!! Now, I am just sitting here waiting for the call to let me know they are ok.)
11:30 - they just called and both kids are finished. Rudy is getting his IV out and is awake. They said Bran did great with the hand dental and she was in the room with them snuggled up in the pink blanket I took for her. They are going to put them both in the same crate, and watch Rudy until I pick them up late afternoon. Thanks for the rays !
Oh no!! NO FOOD!! That is craziness!! Paws and fingers crossed that the dentals go well!
Many prayers and rays headed your way today for Rudy and Brandy.....may the dentals go extremely well!! Prayers for Brandy also.....sure hope that gall bladder is in good shape...please keep us updated about Brandy :xfinger: Let us know as soon as you get the call.
Rays on the way to Texas for Rudy and Brandy....and for mama to! It's no fun to wait while they have this sort of thing done. Let us know how they do Barb!
Rays coming at y'all.
Aww poor Rudy. No food is tough! An you had to wait until 11:30! I bet you are nearly starved!! I'm glad their dentals went well. That can be a big deal sometimes. Porky needs his done soon as well. But, I'm trying to get a litte more comfortable with this new vet first. Otherwise we'll take him down to our very first vet we had in Wyoming to do the proceedure.
Glad all went well. I am especially glad to hear that they keep them together! That's important. The vet that I first went to didn't like to keep dogs together for some strange reason. That was before we got Tuttle and my Mom and I would board our dogs when we had to go out to western part of the state when my grandfather was dying so we had them boarded almost every other weekend. Her dog Guiness was a black lab and adored Mimi like no other. It really helped to have them together during that time. Makes it easier on them I think. Keep us posted on the Gallbladder!!

Glad to hear everything went well!! :thumb: Penny is due for her dental but with everything she has gone through this year we are going to hold off for a bit. I really don't want to put her to sleep again this year...plus the bank account tapped out and closed for business :verdict:.
Glad you kids are okay. Now you've both got pearly white smiles!
