I was at the needlework shop the other day to buy embroidery wool, and just happened to turn around and look behind me as I was checking out. And what did I find....

These sweaters are great! There are 12 patterns, and NOT ONE OF THEM HAS SLEEVES! Also, there are size changes, so you can knit a sweater to fit any dachsie...maybe even Longfellow! The models are cute, too!
How adorable. I will have to get out my knitting needles and dust them off!!!
Shall we all send our puppers measurements to you ? :2funny:
:BangHead: how often do you have tell people......." I'm NOT A PUPPY"

I have the same problem with Porky, Roberta. People always come up and say, "You have the cutest little puppy, is he six months old?" Um...no, he's two, almost three. People never belive me.
Anyway....those are cute sweaters. I'll have to check them out. I always end up having to "modify" the sweaters i buy from stores so they fit Porky.
I took a closer look at the changes and measured my guys. Most sweaters in the book will fit minis and tweenies up to 15-16 lbs quite nicely. You might even be able to make them work for 17-18 poinders by switching to slightly heavier yarns and going up a needle size or two.
Nothing to fit Fella : (
Aw shucks! None of those will fit Porky either, he is only 9 1/2 pounds.
The smallest size should fit Porkie very well. They are perfect for toys and minis

People always say, "Is Guinness a puppy?" "No, he's 12 and a half!"
