Meg and I have just returned from 5 days at the beach. Randy is not crazy about the sand and the heat, so he chose to stay home and keep schatzi and molly happy. I'm not sure he succeeded, but at least everyone appears to be fed and okay. They weren't too crazy when we walked in, so that's a good sign. Of course, schatzi did not like the fact that Meghan and I both had suitcases out!
I couldn't resist posting some pics of my niece who is 21 months old. She was such a joy. Everything was so much fun for her and the Terrible Two's are just barely starting to raise their ugly heads! I had lots of fun with the camera. My favorite shots of kids are the ones where they may not face the camera at all. Sometimes their innocence just shines through....
In the picture that shows her running, she was actually running from her mom and Meghan. My camera had a continuous shooting feature and I used that. In the next frames I got, you can see them gaining on her, but this is the one I love. I'm planning to have it enlarged and framed for her mom and dad for Christmas.
