Hey everyone! We decided to post since Mommy never has time anymore!!
She has a boyfriend now!!! YUCKIE!!! Who would ever trade our sweet kisses for that of a big corn fed dufus!!! We are trying hard to run him off too.
Dottie here: Being the hall monitor and needing to keep control of all situations, I've done everything but bite him. I would love to but Mommy keeps an eye on me too close for me to sneak one in! UGH! And guess what!!! Whe he visits, he won't let us sleep with Mommy either! That's right. Kicked us right out of our own King sized bed! Mommy does make sure we are loved and tucked in but we do everything we can to keep that guy awake all night! heehee!
He does play with us and we're trying to get along with him but I'm still biting my nails over all this stuff. I'm a nervous wreck and I'm just not sure I'll ever like him enough to give up my bed!
Hi everyone. It has been a long time. I've missed checking on everyone & their babies.
I have been very busy this year with the loss of my adoptive mom and now my birth mom is ill.
Mix in a new man in my life this summer and it's been a roller coaster ride.
The dogs have really given him a run for his money. LOL! He's trying very hard to make friends but my girl especially isn't easily impressed. She has always been stand-offish. She has slacked up on chewing her nails. Yes my girl bites the nails on her right front paw or chews up her blanket when she is stressed. They have been slowly adjusting to him being around and me being gone more. It's not been easy. Frankie was devistated over being kicked out of the bed and he will pout all day on Monday if I'm gone over the weekend. Ma says that he will lay in my bed all day monday until it's time for me to come home. ;-) Tough little ones.
The adjustment hasn't easy for me either. I hate being away from them.
We live 70 miles from each other so we ususally rotate weekends at each house.
Because of living situations I can't take the dogs with me but hope that will change soon.
We're all having a big adjustment around here but making it.
I promise to send new pics soon.

Poor babies I feel so bad for them, they don't understand and don't want to share mom (or lose their spot in the big bed!). :( I will second Papbouv LOL.

Kicked out of the bed, never happen in my house. When hubby first started to stay over, he had to learn to share!! I secretly think he liked it! 12 years later we still sleep with 2 weenies!
I regret every single time I took time away from my dogs for a man. There can be a happy balance, just make sure you can live with your choices. The time we have with our dogs is over with way too soon.
I have a queen size bed.
The dachshunds get one half.
I get the other.
If I even THOUGHT about getting married again, that husband would have to come equipped with his own mattress and boxspring.
