I would like to join one sometime.
I think it use to be at 9 EST on Saturdays - we don't usually make it at that time since it is 6 PST for us and we are usually out or eating dinner.
So, Patty, did you finally get internet at home and not just at work? I know you had put it off for awhile, even after the ground thawed last year, but had noticed you were posting some on the weekends.
Hi Patty! We still do the chats on Saturday nights -- using the same times as the ones on the DC board. I have to admit, I haven't been on too much this summer but I've caught a few and have chatted with Merion, Mike, Julia, Marcia, in recent times. I usually check the chat around 6:30 pm (PST) to see who is there. Summers are a bit busier for me -- so I'm a bit scarce. But just wait until the cooler weather hits, I'll be there more. Dee
Teresa, we got internet at home last February after Misty passed away, and my sister (whose computer I WAS using) gave me her very unsympathetic "Everything Dies" speech.
Maybe we could come up with some times to chat other than the saturday night chat. I would love to chat but saturdays are difficult sometimes. What works for you Patty? What time zone are you guys in?
How about a Sunday night chat? A chance to get caught up on what we did over the weekend?
Karen
I have chatted on Saturdays every once in a great while but it is so true that summer is a busy time. Sunday night chats are a great idea! :apls: I agree with Dee, wait until cooler weather and I will be chatting more. Oh yeah, we live in EST.
9pm EST on Saturday worked for me in the past, that was 5pm here in Alaska. Sunday nights are out as I am getting ready for the week, and have to get up at 3:30am.
I'm still there 97% of the time Saturdays 9 p.m. Eastern... sometimes I miss Marcia or Merion by logging in just as they log out, but some of us regulars are still to be found - once in a while, Clarese pops in.
It's Saturday night...I know the NASCAR race is on but....is anybody going to chat tonight??
Mike and I are in Chat if anyone is out there!
