Now when mommy and papa go sum pwace, I have to go into the laundwywoom. There I have my bwankies and water and stuff. Da big pwastic gate always goes up when I go in. Hey! I'm not compwainin'.....much. I'm sort of fine wiff dat....IF IT'S IN THE NOWMAL WOOTINE. Well, yesterday, tings were different. It's Saturday. Not the weekday wootine. Suddendwy I find myself on da udder side of da gate.....and I didn't go wiff dignity eider, wike during da week. I had to be cawwied over da top. Well fine. I'm a good sport. My hoomans will be back soon so I might as well settle down for a nap. Zzzzzzz.

Mommy finishes up the story here. We had come home after checking out several places to buy our stove (see O/T for details). We had settled on one and were just stopping in to freshen up and jot down our final questions and concerns. I let the Roo out and explained in the nicest way possible that we couldn't take her because it was way too hot and she'd melt in the car. I guess she didn't care for my explanation and concern. When we got home, she had actually chewed a rather large hole in her baby gate and had managed to knock it down. The hole isn't big enough to get through but it has a good start on it. And boy howdy! She was MAD at both of us. No kisses. head turned away. The works. You could almost see what she was saying in that pea brain of hers.....oops, can't reprint it here.
Today, all is well and she's had our full attention all day. It's once again a lovely day in Madderoo's neighborhood.
A final word from Miss You-Know-Who. So you see, you don't mess wiff da Woo and get away wiff it. I showed dat mommy and papa but dood! I not mad at dem anymore. I've been fed and am weddy for a nice nap. Night! Night!
Maddarooo....we fully understand wut you are talkin' 'bout. Today is a holiday - and where is our mudder????? She is at the werk ??? What is dat all about....of course dad is here and we are snugglin' in de big bed...but mudder is supposed to be HOME !!!! Eben dough she was home ALL day yesterday and neber left de house.....tis not fair - she NEEDS to come home to us right now !
Glad your mudder found a stove...now she can cook you someting vewy tasty :thumb:

I understand completely. What happened to you is an outrage!
When we first adopted Leopold, we used a baby gate to confine him to the kitchen. He chewed a hole through it, but didn't knock it down - he escaped through the hole!

Dis is Porky Pie. I totawy understand dat. I would be mad too. Dat is outwageous!!! Lucky you are smarter den me dough. Cause when i chewed frew my gate, um...well i twied to run frew da hole i made. Talk about stoopid!!! :doah: I onwy chewed da hole big nuff for my head, so I gots stuck when i twied to go all da way frew. :idiot: Boy did dat make momma laff when she gots home. :2funny: Picture dis...a doxie haf in da hole and haf out! Its ok...you can laff, I was onwy stuck for about 10 minutes. Eben I fink its funny now. But...dat is da weason I'm stuck in my kennel when momma and daddy weave. I seem to get in too much twubble when I gets any fweedom. :verdict: So....dats da wuling on dat. Just be wucky you gots some fweedom!

That really do have a way of showing their displeasure. Schatzi will occasionally hold back kisses, but not to often. Molly, however, is the queen of pouting. She does it quite well.
Which stove did you decide to get. I was doing some research, but got stopped in the middle of it and never had a chance to start up again.
