Glad you liked it! I had fun writing it! Someone suggested it would make a good children's spiritual book. (Of course, many parents may have issues with the idea of "Bone Goddess"! LOL!)

Rick and I are going on vacation to Lake Michigan in early September for a couple of weeks (we'll be staying at my sister's cottage) and we're taking the poosers, of course. Really excited about that!
Will try to catch up on the news as I have time. You may remember that one of the reasons I had to make myself leave the board is that I tend to get so sucked in, I don't get any work done, so I'm hoping I can manage things better now...
Going to go give Roly and Lilah a marrow bone now...The Bone Goddess ALWAYS comes through when the time is right!

What a nice surprise to see you here Julia! The Bone Goddess story is too funny, I can totally picture the whole thing. They know they have us pretty much under their control! Roly looks great. And I LOVE the avatar picture, what in the world were they looking at? They are perfect copies of each other!
They are looking at the squirrel on the fence who is taunting them!
In the interest of full disclosure, the first Roly photo in the story is from when he was a puppy--it was the only one I had that looks like he's praying. The second one is more current Roly (from this summer). He's lost a lot of hair--he's got that dachshund congenital baldness thing--and he's graying a lot--but he's trim and happy and bounces like a puppy! Not bad for an 8+-year-old.
By the way, Roly is currently outside gnawing his bone--and probably Lilah's, too, as she gives up faster than he does! She's in my office with me napping now...
