Well speaking of chewing things up we have one of those clocks that tell you the outside temperature the kind here you put the little box outside Buddy decided the little box would be tasty. We have been dealing with our sons wedding so over the weekend the dogs Buddy & Patches did not get all of their usual attention. I found the little box in the yard nicely chewed on brought it in the house showed it to DH and he did his usual complaining about the dogs then put it by his chair.
Today had to take parents to Doctors so left Patches loose in the house Buddy outside. Patches found the poor box and chew on it some more so now thinking will have to find a new clock.

Oh my....isn't it wonderful how our dachsies all of a sudden decide to chew on things? Around this house, something can be sitting around for months and months and they won't bother it...but then....all of a sudden it is like a steak dinner ....and then....CHOMP!! My hubby does the same thing as yours....complains for a few minutes....tosses the item aside ........and then clicks on the remote....problem solved....hahaha....
Are all DH related?????

Now, now, if we did everything just the way you wanted, we'd be women...
ROTFL Mike. Nah, you are one of the exceptions!
But...this is exactly why Hallie does not and never will have a Daddy. LOL.
Hope DH gets over it fast Papbouv, (or you might have to place him heheh)
The only replacement of DH would be another dog no more DH for me not worth the hassle always picked the wrong brand.
