Hi Roscoe, dis is Emmy... Dey are weally quite boring right now, but dey are almost 2 weeks old, and are jus startin ta open dere eyes... Momma sez dat if I jus be patient, dat in a couple more weeks dey will be ready ta pway wif me.... :meme: Some of da babies are startin ta gets dere eyes opened up.... Dey don't sniff at me yet, but I weally sniff at dem alot!!! And, dey make dis funny sqeauk sound??? What is wif dat???? :dontknow: I thought dey were babies, not squeaky toys!!!! :scratch: When dey do dat squeak sound, it sure grabs my 'tention!!! Glad to see that she has the mothering instinct. Even the most predatory of dachshunds like my Rudy-angel seems to respond to animal young. One time a robin's nest fell out of a tree. When Rudy went up to sniff them, one of the baby birds opened up it's beak like "are you my mother?", Rudy was taken aback. It wasn't until I pulled him away that he realized that he should have eaten them when he had the chance.

Be careful once dey get moving, dey can weally MOVE! Just member to wun weal fast if de chase you.
