Just wanted to let everyone know that Penny will be missing from the Pennycam for the next couple of weeks/months during the day. She will be making appearances during the later afternoon and evening and weekends! She wanted us to notify all her fans!! :hello2:
Drew and I put our home on the market and since we have a lock box on the place I don't feel comfortable leaving Penny home. So off to Grandma's she will go every day (Ugh...means I have to get up at 5:15 am instead of 5:30 :verdict:), Hopefully it will sell fast!! Who knows with this market!! :dontknow: We are in the process of making an offer on another house so keep your fingers and paws crossed that everything works out and we get it!!

We had our first open house on Sunday but didn't get much traffic. Of course the house has only been listed a couple of days so it wasn't surprising. We have an awesome Realtor that we are working with so we are just hoping for the best. My anxiety level is running a bit high right now :verdict:!! We'll keep you updated! Penny will be on the cam in the evenings and weekends though - so keep your eye out for her :hello2:!
The smartest move you can make is to selll your house FIRST. You can often do a rent-back fom the new owner while you find and fnalize your move. You can always rnt. I had friends who sold their home and went into an apartment for 2 years until they got just the right house. And because they weren't in a house, they could put in a contract on the new home without a contingency clause in it. So they were perfectly positioned to buy!
