Has anyone bought a No Pull Harness that really worked ? I have tried a buckle collar,a pinch collar ,a halti. & a Gentel Leader Buddy still pulls like a sled dog when i walk him with the scooter????? He does not pull on the leash at all if you walk him. Had to quit using the pinch he was pulling so hard he wore all the hair off his neck.

We used one years ago on Angus, and the pity was we only had to use it about twice and he cottoned on to walking not running.

I like the hug-a-dog. I know make my own. Puppia also has a great harness.
Sounds to me like he needs to learn how to go on a "scooter walk."
Take him with a choke or prong collar. Have someone who is pretty nimble go on the scooter and start up. The minute he pulls, have the person step off the scooter, give a tug, and say a correction, like Cesar Millan, who makes that "ts, ts" sound and extends his palm out while moving toward the dog to show dominance in a calm, assertive way. Eventually, the person won't have to get off the scooter to correct the behavior. Then you should be able to go on the scooter and make the same correction.
Personally, I find it useful to use a phrase to indicate to the dog what behavior you want the dog to accomplish. I tell The Herd to "go to bed" and they all jump up on my bed and get in their cushions. I say "bathroom" and thy go in my master bath. You could say "scooter walk" every time you give a correction and Buddy will soon figure out that "scooter walk" means walk calmly along side.
I bought the Cesar Millan first season DVD set, and watched almost the whole thing in one sitting, and I am convinced. He shows the same calm assertive behavior time and again. It works for The Herd. Good luck!!

I was recently watching Rachel Ray and she had her dog "Isaboo" on there demonstrating a leash harness that was really cool! When the dog pulls on it it makes the dog only go in a circle pattern and not pull. My mom was looking into getting one too. Haven't found where to get them yet. I need to go to her website and see if there is a link or just e-mail show about it. You may want to check it out.
