She is, in fact, a bloodhound. At least that's what it seemed to us when we discovered the- (whisper) bathroom(end whisper) trash all over the bedroom. Yep, it was mainly, um...female trash, if you get my drift. Well, Madderoo whiffed the drift and with paw on sift, dug for a gift of......ewwwwwww! It was ALL over, and I do mean ALL OVER the carpet. Yuck.
Ah, twas the hoomom's fault. You see, Dolly was our resident "bloodhound" so we kept THAT trash up on the toilet so as not to tempt. Maddie would join in the fun but never instigate. Well, apparently she was a Madderoo gone wild and really did a fine decorating job. So now, lesson is learned. Doggers can be good.......but will break out in craziness when the notion takes.

Eck is right - LOL !!!! I have kept our trash can on the back of the toilet since day 1 when Rudy came. As he was exploring the house, he grabbed a pink tissue out of the trash and I chased him all over the house trying to get it. I was so afraid he would eat it and get clogged up on our first day !!!!

I'm thanking God that Porky isnt a trash hound. YUCK!!! He likes the kitchen trash, but that's it.
Rudy-angel used to be trash hound, and I know he shredded up one of those feminine thingies once. The only thing grosser was that you could pick parts of it out in his stool :eeew: :puke:
The Zs sniff the trash, but so far haven't been trash raiders. Then again, with our house Jessica-proofed, the Zs get little opportunity to raid the cans.

it could have been worse!! I do remember some very embarrassed tales maybe on original dachsie circus board about not only strewing it around but out in the LIVING ROOM when guests came in!! warning the same thing will happen with lets just say some types of female clothing!!
although on the humorous side and i dont remember which doxie it was, but do remember one getting tangled in a BRA!! ever wonder how to make a BRA that would fix a doxie!! i mean 2 cups would NOT be enough!!

I have my humans trained well. They have baby locks on the lower cupboards and I have figured out how to open the one under the sink to get to the trash! So, now they put a kitchen chair in front of it! And, they keep the master bathroom door shut...all the time!
Last week I learned how to climb from the sofa to the coffee tables in the family. HooDad is bad about leaving good stuff around. He ties flies and always has something that smells good lying around...like bucktails and cowtails and feathers! Do you know how much fun it is to shred feathers all over the family room? I had a good time!

That's why our garbage cans have lids and not the kind that you can step on to open because my monsters learned to work together, one stepping to get the lid open and the other pulling out the "good stuff". Sounds like we need another support group in addition to the poop eaters anonymous.
