Title: Home Alone
Post by: dachsyholic on June 15, 2007, 04:26:09 AM
Need some helpĀ . I have a little guy who has never been alone and lost his companion last Friday. He is totally miserable and does nothing but cry while I am at work. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to help him? My only alternative at the moment seems to be to send him with my husband and his dog during the week. He would be happier I'm sure, but I just can't imagine not having a furbaby with me during the week.

We have 4 and when we leave the house we turn the radio on to drown out the noise outside and that seems to help.Does it have a favorite blanket to snuggle up in?

Unfortunately no!! His problem is being totally alone which he has never been in his 7 years of life. I feel so bad for him. He really misses Tiffany.

I am sure he is depressed from losing his companion.   Leave a radio or tv on, give him some clothes that smell like you to lay on, maybe a kong to keep him busy for a while?  Is there someone that can check in on him during the day and maybe take him for a walk?  I am afraid it will just take some time.....it is so new for him to be alone AND for losing his sibling.
