I was thinking of taking Patches to see if she could be a Therapy dog Gizmo was years ago we went to hospitals & Nursing Homes I think Patches has the right temperament for it.Patches has one problem I thought she would out grow it but so far she has not when people come over or if we go somewhere Patches rolls on her back and pees. We just went up to the vets to get the toes chopped and she rolled over for a belly rub from the vet tech and she pees. My soon to be daughter-in -law came over she Patches peed on her foot. You can not have a dog peeing like that in a Hospital or Nursing Home I never yell at her I try to ignore it because if you get on to them it would make it worse. Any ideas on how to stop it??? Patches is a cuddlier and loves to be petted she is very sweet knows a few tricks that would entertain the patients & residents. We may start a beginers obedience class since Buddy is going to graduate(maybe) in June. Going to wait until fall for the next class with him too hot here and he is black.Patches you can do all of the obedience in the house Buddy is too big have to work with him outside.

I wish I had some advice for you, but I don't know how you'd stop that (hopefully someone has some ideas?) My Dad's Jody was a submissive pee'er all her life I did some research back then and tried everything we could find out about but truthfully nothing helped. We just learned to open the front door and call her out to the grass for the first greeting as that was the only time she'd pee.
