When I first began using the Internet, I found a cool website that could calculate your real age, based on exercise, nutirition, and other healthy habits. Now they've done it for pets! Want to try it? Brekke will be 6 on July 5, so that old "one year of a dog's life is equal to 7 years of a human's" is not accurate for the healthy habits I impose on her! She has a "real age" of 20.8 years, which is 8.6 years less than the unspayed mini dachsie of her age! Here's the link: www.dogage.com/ (http://www.dogage.com/)
Penny will be 5 in December and her is 15.9! That's 6.1 years younger than the average DogAge for Penny's breed.
Hallie's is 23.5, 10.1 years less than the average. :thumb:
Chilie is 5 1/2 now. Her real age is 19.5! That's 7.7 years younger than the average! :hello2:
Willy and Alex are 9 years old, and 34 years old in dog years...........12.4 years younger than the average!!! :hello2:
Cookie is 29.5 , 10 years younger that a doxie her age ( I guessed 8 yo). :hello2: I told her not fair, she is younger than me now.
thats really good website they said bruno is the right age for a dog of his breed
Guinness is 59.1 years old according to Dogage. Interesting. I feed him as much as he wants, he still only weighs 7 pounds, he sleeps 23 3/4 hours a day and he's one happy pupper!
I don't know how to exercise him more without him looking like an Ethiopian famine victim!
