Ken and I appreciate your kind thoughts upon Cocoa's passing. I would have written sooner; but, Ken's brother passed away the same week from a heart attack and we had to go to Cleveland to be with his family. Sometimes things just seem to go wrong in bunches...
Patches has adapted to Cocoa's passing without to much difficulty. He actually seems a little quieter as the sole dog. He gets all the attention and doesn't have to compete. He has moved to Cocoa's spot on the big bed, between the human's pillows at the top of the bed.
I hope to be able to load some photos of Cocoa in happier times later this week.

I am so sorry you had to deal with your BIL passing away at the same time- that's alot of grief and sadness to deal with. :comfort:
Its nice to hear that Patches is doing OK and has moved into the best spot in the big bed.
Oh you guys are really getting hammered. I am so sorry Diane. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, hang in there it may not seem like it right now but this too shall pass.... :pray:
