My boss had to leave a few minutes ago. He was going to pick up his three kids, and they are driving to Iowa State to see their dog. From the way he sounded, and the fact that he is taking the kids with him, makes me feel that they may have to make that very hard decision to send their dog to the Bridge. I'm not sure what kind of dog they have (not a dachsund), and apparently this happened over the weekend as he did not say anything on Friday.
So, any rays would be appreciated for him. He is such a wonderful, gentle person, one of the best managers I've had the privilege to work for.
