I applied and interviewed for a position at a local vet's office. I did well during the interview, but Dr. B wanted to discuss me with the staff to see about the personality and group dynamic to ensure a good fit for the group. He called this morning about it but I couldn't get to the phone in time so I'm waiting for a call back to see if I actually got the position or not. Fingers crossed!
We have fingers and paws crossed for you! Let us know!! :xfinger:
 Praying that you got the job!!!!!!!!
Oooooh KEWL! I'm waiting on pinz and needlez for the word.
I got the job! I start on Monday and one of the best things about it is that I'll be about 5-10 minutes from Elf. Her daycare/school is just down the street so I'll be close by if she needs me. The not so great part is that I'll be working 9 hours/day 4 days a week so I'll be away from Elf and the girls a lot those days. My day off I can snuggle and play though so I'm hoping it will work out for us. The pay will be nice too as will the experience I'll gain. I am hoping to work in agriculture, but I need experience working with animals and treatments so the easiest way to get that was to work in a vet's office. Wish me luck!
Congratulations! Can't wait to hear how your first day goes!!
Congratulations on your new job! Can't wait to hear about the first day.
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good for you!
Hope I did not scare you off from the vet job hope you get the job sounds like a great job. the only reason i mentioned the shoe thing is because I worked in hospitals 31 years. Also know Parvo and other dog diseases can be contagious so can't hurt to take precautions.Good Luck n getting the job.

Good luck on your first day tomorrow!!
I have completed 3 full days. It's been fun? Well, maybe not fun, but I've enjoyed myself. I come home and I'm exhausted, but it's because I'm going and doing all day keeping busy. the people I'm working with are nice and I hope to become friends with t hem, they seem to like me and I like them so that's a start. I have of course gotten the big SNIFF every evening when I get home, but I feed the girls pretty much the moment I step in so the sniffing generally ends soon.
Glad to hear that it is going well! I always hate starting news jobs and trying to fit in with eveyone! Sounds like it is going well though...
