I talked to my friend today who I do paintings for for her designs for card companies and she offered to take some Hallie photos with her to NY next month to the big trade show where all the big card reps go to find art for the year. (she is the NICEST lady). She wants me to print these photos of Hallie out as cards and have a saying on the front that continues on in the inside. I need some ideas. I'll probably use the rose, the yellow blanket and nose sticking out, the one on the log with the wind in her ears, one of the tulip ones and the old one at Christmas of her with her paw in the air. She suggested:
some inspiratonal verse..........maybe about the nature of dogs, or it doesn't have to say anything about dogs....maybe a few lead in words on front , and opens to a continuation of thought.
I don't want to be corny or use something that has been used alot...we have so many good writers here, any suggestions?
Personally I would rather see them as the type of cards that come blank - you know the type where you write your own message. Hallie speakks for herself.
Maybe I'll think of another one later, but for the rose, why not have "Some say a rose...(inside) means love. A) Happy Valentine's Day! B) Happy Anniversary! C) Want to tango?" I love the same picture on a card with several different choices of verse.

This will be fun! I agree with the others that it would be easier if all the pictures were together in one post.

Ah you guys are the best! Thanks so much. I will gather them up and post them in one post. Sandi those are great!! Marcia I think they want to just see samples with text so they have an idea I too would like to see blank ones. It is really hard to get cards picked up by a company, there is tons of competition but the lady I paint for has some ins and she is excited to take these with her to the NY show so you never know!
