were somehow dominated by pics of Hallie. Now how did that happen? ;) (I was taking photos as reference to paint horses from). I'll see if I can post a few...these are her on the horse race track we jogged around the whole thing she went wild in the sand. :grin:
Is it windy out here or is it me?
Hallie is ready to race...but she cant' find any horses. So she calls for them. Then she decides to go looking for them herself.
(mom hopes she isn't going to get in trubble for taking up too much image space :))
1st pic: Can somebody look behind me and tell me if THOSE are horses?
2nd pic: I don't care what they are...I'll race 'em. I'm in my "GET SET" position. All is need is a "GO!"
3rd pic: We might as well go home. We aren't EVER going to see any horses.
(For those of you who don't know me very well...I better add that at no time was Hallie remotely in any danger of horses or bison.) :meme: :grin:

Hi Roberta! Ha, I love that caption too...where has the water gone. It does look like the beach there. And YES I got 300 pictures of the horses, they were awesome I'll be painting all winter (Hallie and I have been hitting horse and dog shows every weekend to get as many pics as possible before the fall weather hits). Here is one of a Lipizzan stallion. There were lots of warmbloods, Trekhaners, Hanoverians, etc all kinds of sports horses, it was the championships for Dressage in the area so some fancy dancy horses there today. There was a young Oldenburg there I wanted in the worst way but he was a mere $40,000.00 and I didn't have that much on me. LOL. I'll also attach a photo I took a couple of week ago of my cousin's Friesian gelding, Thor. I will definitely be painting this one I just can't come up with a background...

Hi DeeDee & Hallie, it's so good to hear from you. Love all the pics of Hallie. She is just so adorable. :bkiss: The horse pics are great. :thumb: Horses are such majestic animals. When my daughter was a teenager we owned a thoroughbred gelding and she loved to compete in dressage. However, as she grew older she spent less and less time with him. We gave him to the riding school, but I will always remember the fun we had with him.

Thanks guys, Hallie and I are going to a bunch more horse shows and dog things in the next couple of weeks for pics. I'll post my best shot here of a doberman I took 2 days ago at a Schutzhund practice (where they do the bite work on the sleeves, etc). This dog is actually a real sweetie. And no Hallie doesn't come ANYWHERE near these guys! :wink:

Marcia, at Hallie's last show, she was on the long down, got an itch so whipped her head around to scratch, when she turned back around she was in a half sit. So that was a flunk! She did lay herself back down but it was too late. That was OK though we go to have fun which we did! Her next thing is she is going to the State Fair to be judged by all the 4-H kids who made it to state, in obedience. That is on the 17th. Tell Eddie Hallie would love to race him around the track anytime!
Brekke, you will have to let us know how the peanut oil works. Hallie takes fish oil but we've never tried peanut. That's cool your mom has a teacher friends with DOXIES!
