Title: Dis is Eddie - Car update
Post by: Marcia from MI on April 14, 2007, 07:28:04 PM
mamma's car is a total loss and we gets to get a new car.  But momma says we have to wait for da insuwence company to call and see if we will get any money for the old one - momma was weasing it.  And she gets to get new gwassas.  I can't wait for a new car, but I'm gonnamiss my twuck.

Marcia here yes the truck was a total loss and we probably won't get anything for it since it was a lease and they figure that differently than if you owned it.  Also I took my old glasses into the eye doctor today and they can't be  used either so I had to get new glasses.  I just got a new pair last year and the weird thing was they never seemed right and today I found out why they never put the bifocals in them so I couldn't see correctly.  So today this new doctor made I got the correct lenses and since there was a salegoing on I got a pair of better frames for only 9.00 more than the advertised special.  Now if the insurance company will pay for them I'll be all set.

I hope they will pay for your glasses too, they should! I hope you don't have much trouble getting a new car, that really sucks especially since it wasn't your fault.

Oh No!!  I really hope they fork out the money for your glasses and new car.  That would be VERY aggravating!!!   Good Luck.

I hope you get SOMETHING out of this!  Geez, it sucks when you are just going along, minding your own business and you get clobbered!  Its not your fault and you still have to go thru all this major inconvenience.  Its not fair.

Maybe you can sue in small claims for the eyeglasses?

WE are doing better.  I saw the car or what's left of it today and it's a mess.  Funny thing the middle seat where the boys usually sit was not even touched go figure.

I"m glad neither you or Eddie have any latent post wreck pain! Scary stuff Marcia. I'll bet it was pretty unsettling to see your car like that. I'm just so glad you both are OK.

The boys and the kitties need their Mom healthy so she can reach the food bowls OK!  :thumb:
