I stumbled across Wiener Writings at the old Dachshund Circus! site. I had no idea the board was still active, and almost dropped my teeth when I discovered it was! :doah:
Since the 2006 Bow Wow we've moved, and The Wrecking Crew has grown in number. We went from three to five in 1996 and added number six in 2003. We lost one to the Bridge (Mandy :crybaby2:) February of 2004 bringing us back down to five. Then we saw a little blind-from-birth Doxie (Tootsie :binkybaby: ~ You can see her at her site.) online in 2005 and she became Wrecking Crew Member six. Again in 2005, we added Miss Sassafrass, bringing The Wrecking Crew to seven in number , and gave her the title of Honorary Doxie so she wouldn't feel left out. (She was an Affie/Malt mix and went to the Bridge March 2007. :crybaby2:) Sassy, too, was blind, but due to cataracts.
I (We = TWC & me) am active in rescue (independant), and Freecycling. Great thing that Freecycling! If you haven't tried it you might want to give it a shot. Freecycle groups are in Yahoo! listed under Recycle.
I'm having a bit of trouble placing my pin on the map, but I'll keep working on it. Maybe one day I'll be able to put it where it belongs. :verdict: :eeew:
