Title: Neighbors broke in.....well...sort of.
Post by: doxielady5569128 on April 02, 2007, 08:44:15 PM
Well, its been another exciting day in our household.  ( As usual)   I had to leave Porky at home while i came into work this evening.  The sky all around where we live was green and it was rumbling with thunder.  No big deal, this is Nebraska.   Well about an hour after I got to work, my neighbors phoned me at my job.  They called to inform me that they had, "heard Porky barking and crying, and broke in to save him."   (We gave them a key for emergencies)   The storm had gotten quite bad out at our house and it had started to hail and the thunder was very loud.  So... our neighbors heard Porky and thought, they had better bring him to their home until the storm was over.

Thank God for loving neighbors!  :angel4:  Porky is terrified of thunder, I am so happy he could go be held and cuddled by our neighbors while i was away worried about him.   :apls:  I honestly think we have the BEST neighbors!   Well, on one side anyway.

That was very nice of them to do that for Porky & You bet he was happy to see someone in his scary mode hope he gave them a kiss or two for saving him. Nowdays most people would not take the time to do that you are lucky to have nice people living close.

That indeed was very nice of your neighbors for rescuing poor Porky Pie!!!   :apls: :apls: I feel so sorry for our babies when it is storming....Sheba is terrified of thunder storms just like Porky.  I believe there is something out there that helps calm then down when it storms, etc.  It is called Rescue Remedy.  I have been meaning to get some because Spring is very active here in Ohio (lotsa thunderstorms and tornadoes, etc).  Has anyone here had success using Rescue Remedy?
